This was a documentary of 1 hour shot on location in Ireland. Shot on location in Kilmacthomas and Dublin,
the story deals with the IRA campaign in the 50's and 60's and involved the raids on various British Army
barracks in the North, the most famous being the raid on Gough Barracks where the IRA infiltrated the
armoury and stole a lot of weapons. Members of Battlegroup in conjunction with members of the Munster
Military vehicle and re enactment group supplied all weapons, uniforms and vehicles for the film.
Directed and produced by Java Films it looked at the mode of operation of the IRA of the time,
the training and planning as well as the actual way the operation was conducted.
As well as German equipment and uniforms the group can supply a wide range of American, British and
European gear, vehicles and extras and weapons for all types of filming and are also in a position
to provide stunning locations for future projects.
